Perception is all.. I used to work as a lawyer for a large company. One day I was asked to help as a young male employee was becoming very stressed at work.The guy was deaf and used sign and lip reading.  I observed the situation for a while and then asked him what he thought was happening. He said that he thought all the other employees didn’t like him. I asked how he knew and he said he looked at their faces. We talked a while and then with his permission, I shared his issue with the other employees. They were horrified and said that they thought he was great. We discussed the solution together as a group. This guy read faces. Our thoughts reflect in our faces. They agreed the solution was to remember this and to be present and smile. After a week everyone said they felt better!.
